  • Question

  • hello everybody

just looking for more info on this {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} folder

how the string of letters and number create the folder content shortcuts?

has it always been named godemode?

was this an internal Microsoft folder used during development?

can the string be modified to change folder contents?

what the name of the office at microsoft who developed?

    happy holidays

  • I don't think the answers to your questions will be forthcoming out of Microsoft - even if I were to seek out the people internally.  Tools like this are cool, but really not supported.

The string itself looks like a GUID, which will probably just not work if you change the values.  It doesn't do anything specifically to create the list of tools, but likely just refers to a hidden place in the file system or registry.

Sorry I don't have more than that.
