Host Process for Windows Services has stopped working (svchost.exe, missing compounds?) RRS feed

  • Question

  • svchost.exe - Unable to Locate compound
This application has failed to start because

     MOZCRT19.dll
     nspr4.dll
     sqlite3.dll
     nssutil3.dll

was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.

after that another thing pops up saying that Host Process for Windows Services has stopped working .

Ive looked through the web for solutions for days and i still can't fix it...... T.T

  • I have the same issue. Exact same files too.

    Only happens on boot.

  • If you use Bit Defender, it is treating components to other programs such as Firefox as generic Trojan viruses and quarantining them.  I don’t have a solution but it may help you understand the problem better.

  • Thanks so much Asa. I'm also on Bit Defender and this is exactly what happend to me! I guess I'll just have to wait it out.

Let us know if you hear of a solution.
