facebook query example RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have tried to query facebook using power query without success.

Could you give step by step instructions on ho to query the usernames of people who like a particular page.

From within facebook while logged in as nadim.massoud

    the following search

    "People who like Ojen"

    returns correct results.

How can I replicate this search in power query?

    Thank you

    Best Regards

    NAdim MAssoud

  • That edge (People liking) does not seem available from the Facebook Graph API.

This will give you all the statuses of the Office page at Facebook:
    = Facebook.Graph("https://graph.facebook.com/178191330369/statuses")

A list of all available edges can be found here (under Edges):
    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/page

You can try to replace the "statuses" edge from the Power Query above to some other from the reference (i.e. "https://graph.facebook.com/178191330369/links").
