  However, there are some points to which you should pay attention:

   

  1.    You need to use the updated version of the System Preparation tool (Sysprep.exe) to prepare your Windows XP SP3 machines. You can get it from:

  2.    You cannot deploy the syspreped images to machines with different hardware or devices (we have seen some related issues if the target machine is different from the original one).

   

  3.    I would like to suggest that you read the help documents in the above file to avoid potential incorrect settings. In fact, most of these settings are the same with previous versions.
