Voicemail using Unified Messageing and Skype for Business - Greetings not being played/ applied correctly RRS feed

  • Afternoon everyone,

    We use Skype for business, for VM we use Unified Messaging and whilst this technically works I have unearthed an issue with greetings.
    Due to the nature of our business we need to have two different greetings for in and out of hours (simple one would have thought). We have these two greetings recorded in the system and can hear them when we go to re record.

    However, when the number in question is dialed and goes to VM all we get is the generic 'Welcome to the mailbox of' message.

    I've played with rules and settings through OWA and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. 

    Happy to share settings or anything if it helps diagnose.

  • Hi Alex_kay,

    What kinds of greeting audio files?please use  .wav or .wma file.

    • .wma files encoded with Windows Media Audio 9.2 - 96 kbps/44 kHz/stereo 1-pass CBR (Windows Sound Recorder)
    • Windows Media Audio Voice 9 - 8 kbps/8 kHz/Mono, and .wav files encoded with the Linear PCM (16 bit/sample), 8 kilohertz (kHz) audio code

    If you use exchange on-premise server,you could use this link  to import the voice greeting.
