  • Hi,

I would like to verify if 8G RAM is recognized in BIOS. If not, your computer could have a limitation of 3G RAM.

If 8G RAM is recognized in BIOS, please boot in Windows 7, click Start, right click Computer, select properties. You can verify installed memory there. If the information is incorrect, please select the PC model and update chipset driver, BIOS from manufacture's site.

Also, click start -> type msconfig in the search box and press Enter -> On boot tab, click Advanced options -> make sure Maximum memory is not selected.

    Best Regards,

    Niki

  • Press "Windows-key" + Pause/Break to show your system summary.  Take a snapshot using Alt-PrtScn, and paste it into Paint.  Save the file as a jpeg, and post it to this thread, if you don't mind.
