  • Hi,

    It might be Group Policies causing the login process slow.

    Remove any GPOs with Wallpaper or logon scripts on the user\computer account and try again.

  • you can also check if you have roaming profiles or local profiles configured. might be the wait is cause of synchronising the former local profile to the roaming location

  • Hi,

    Another possible reason could be that clients might be getting authenticated from different site domain controller instead of local site. Please provide us

    1)ipconfig /all - domain controller from site 1

    2) ipconfig /all -- domain controller from site 2

    3)ipconfig /all -- from client PC which is having problem

    4)nltest /sc_query:<domain> -- from client PC which is having problem.

  • Hi,

    you may like to review the article below, can help to identify if it's the logon process - which requires the authentication and GPO pull from the DC is causing you the issue, you may like to post the logs for us to review.
