    Hi there,

    I read all technet and the admin and sequencing guides related to App-V 5. It's still not clear for me how could I APPLY configuration files.

    My questions:

    - If I create config files (Deployment or User), I should store them in the same foder as the .appv file, right ? This is the more logical place, right ?

    - The App-V clients are never downloading these files automatically, right ? I need to distribute these files using a distribution software, right ?

    - In order to apply these files on the clients, I need to perform a remote Powershell command according to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj713433.aspx, right ?

    All this sounds weird to me, I thought it was possible to manage all this using the server console or at least GPOs...

    Hello,

    You can place the files whereever you like - you still need to specify the location of the files if using powershell to apply them.

    That is one way, of several todo it. I have never done it remotely though.
