Migration Published to Locked field RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all,

Recently we did a migration from Project Server 2007 to 2010 to 2013. In 2007 the Close Task to update was a feature that was used by the Project Manager to stop the selected tasks from showing up in resource task.

In 2013 this is changed to a 'Locked' field. Once locked and published, the task will no longer show up in the Task and Timesheet views.

Is there an easy way to do a sort of replacement (maybe directly into the SQL table) to set all Publish fields to yes and all Locked fields (for the records where Publish was no) to no?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Kind regards,

    Marco.

  • Might be easiest to just add the field to a schedule view, open each schedule in PWA, and do a drag down to populate the field - but that depends on how many projects you have.

  • Hello Andrew,

First of all, thanks for your reply!

There are a lot of projects (also already finished projects). Any suggestions regarding a replacement directly into the SQL table?

    Regards,

    Marco
