Question of error message "cannot determine file system of drive" at booting seqence RRS feed

  • hello.

    I've run Windows7 Home Edition (64bit).

    A notebook computer that i've used is HP dv4-3118tx model.

    when i boot notebook computer "cannot determine file system of drive /?? / F: auto check" message is floated on screen for a little while,

    then boot sequence proceed normally.

    Until now, there is no problem to use.

    in my opinion, However, this error message may occur some errors. 

    how can i solve this problem?

    please give me your best solutions.

  • Can you upload a screenshot of this screen? It may be possible that your F: drive file system is corrupted or some virus has infected your system.

  • I think you may run "sfc /scannow"(without quotes) command with high privilege first, if the issue persists, you may have an In-Place Upgrade to repair system.
