Cannot launch Outlook in Server 2008 (64 bit) RRS feed

  • Question

  •   I recently installed two Windows Server 2008 64-bit servers.  One is used for Exchnage and one for Terminal Services to run applications for remote users.  The exchange migration from one server and OS to the new went smooth.  Our users never even noticed the change.  The OWA functions very well also.  However, when a user connects via terminal services, they cannot open Outlook 2007.  They get a message

"The action cannot be completed. The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

  • Thomas, I'm not sure that anyone on this particular forum is going to be able to help you with an OWA issue (this forum is for the Assessment and Planning Toolkit).

this forum ("Where is the Forum for...?") is a good place to get re-routed to an appropriate place to ask your question: http://forums.technet.microsoft.com/en-US/whatforum/threads/
