  • That's when the SQL Server was shutdown.
But how does the errorlog look if you start sql server service ??

Is maybe your eventlog full ??
2013-05-22 11:16:09.77 spid13s The current event was not reported to the Windows Events log. Operating system error = (null). You may need to clear the Windows Events log if it is full.

  • Based on your logs: It seems becuase of System restart / shoutdown the SQL Services has been stopped/terminated.

If you have set your SQL Services start type to automatic, the sql services will run automatically once the machine back to online. If the start type is manual you need to start the sql services manually.

Please check the system logs if you want to know the System got restarted/ shutdown.

    Thanks,

  • refer to service-specific error code 17051---.

    select *
    from sys.messages
    where message_id = 17051
         and language_id = 1033

=> SQL Server evaluation period has expired.

But that makes me wonder; by the instance name "SQLEXPRESS" it's Express Edition, which don't expire.

Do you have installed a second SQL Server instance with an Evaluation Edition?
