Using MIM in resource forest for Skype and Exchange 2016 (later) RRS feed

  • Question

  • We want to use the MIM 2016 Sync to make our disabled user accounts in a resource forest, but the management agents in the Lync/Skype resource kit only export contacts, not disabled users. This will work for just Skype, but when we install and migrate to a resource forest topology for Exchange 2016 in CY2018 (not in 2017 budget), I am concerned as Contacts can't host the linked mailboxes for the users in the user forests.

Is there a way to have the Lync MA template put out Disabled Users instead of Contacts? Or should I use the Exchange 2010 MA for the resource forest instead of LyncCentralforestMA.xml?
