Binding bluetooth endpoint in Vista 64-bit? RRS feed

  • Hi!

    Is this right forum for next questions?

    Is socket binding of bluetooth endpoint supported in Vista 64-bit?
    In Vista 32-bit this work.

    Please understand that we are not the best support resource for development related issues. But for your convenience, I've talked with Bluetooth technicians and include the following conclusion as reference:

     

    we have the same functionality on 64-bit as 32-bit.  You can write an application that binds a socket to a particular rfcomm channel on both 32-bit and 64-bit.

    Thanks for answering, can you foward this question to right forum/person.
    The actually problem in 64-bit is that after binding service is zero? But socket is bounded and bt-address and port is available.
