Packaging and deploying PPS dashboard on Production server RRS feed

    Hi

    whats the best practise to package and deploy the dashard created from a testing environment to production server. Any documents available for the same?

    Here is a good starting place for migrating a dashboard from a test environment http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb794641.aspx.

     

    Basically what you need to do is save all the information from the test environment that you would like to move to production to your local .bswx dashboard designer file. Then copy that .bswx file to your new server and open it up there. Next select "Mark Differences" and then you can publish the items you wanted to migrate from test.

  • Get all element with dashboard  designer with click refresh and click every element that you want to got, then save the bswx file.  Then connect the dashboard designer to production server then publish Every element that you want to publish
