Lync 2010 phone detection number in Internet Explorer 9 RRS feed

    I would using Lync 2010 phone detection number in my SharePoint Foundation 2010 demo environment via Internet Explorer 9 – I have activated Lync add-on in IE and edit a phone number +221 338891001 in the SharePoint Web Page.

    When I save and refresh the page I see a white box in place of the Phone Icon with no possibility to call the corresponding number.*

    Any ideas ?

    Hi,

    Phone-number detection in Internet Explorer is not enabled when the phone number is not a United States number and does not start with a "+". It is also unavailable in 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer.

    There currently is no workaround for this issue.
