How to provision project workspace to the projects which are already published and not provisioned workspace initially..? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am using project server 2007 with SP2 and SQL server 2008

I have created a project and published on to the project server, while publishing the project i did not provision project workspace.

Now I need to provision workspace to a project that is already been published and used/updated.

    Pls suggest.

    Regards,

    Sudhir

Every time you published the project, didn’t Microsoft Project 2007 display the dialog that allows you to create the workspace?  That’s the behavior you see until you finally create the project workspace.  So, publish the project one more time and specify in the dialog that you want the system to create the project workspace for you.  After that, the dialog will no longer appear.

If for some strange reason you are no longer seeing the dialog in Microsoft Project 2007, then your Project Server administrator will need to manually create the project workspace for you using the PWA interface.  Hope this helps.
