Search Contacts from GAL by Displayname instad of Mailaddress RRS feed

    Hi everyone,

    in Skype for Business it's possible to search for a user that is registered in the companys GAL. But one will only find those when searching for their Mailaddress. Is there a way to make it possible for the user to find GAL contacts also by searching for the displayname, not only the mailaddress?

    Thanks for any help on this issue!

    Hi Michael,

    Please use this cmd on the SFB server management.

    Set-CsClientPolicy -identity Global -SearchPrefixFlags 255

    If you set the SearchPrefixFlags 255 ,you can search users by following items

    Primary email address

    Email alias

    All email addresses

    Company

    Display name

    First name

    Last name
