Notification sending mail outside the organization fails RRS feed

  • I have a workflow with a notification to send mail when resolving ticket. When the email address is outside the organization I get this error

    The System Center Data Access service client failed to send a notification via the SMTP server:


    Exception message:

    System.Net.Mail.SmtpFailedRecipientException: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Unable to relay

  • You need to grant the workflow server or account relay rights on your SMTP server.
