Mapping multiple PWA projects to one Team Project RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Can we map multiple PWA projects to one Team Project?

If so, how do we do it and how are work items shared?

  • Yes certainly, it can be done, you can associate multiple enterprise projects with the same team project.

  • Great, so when we run the command line commands to map a TFS Team Project to a PWA Project, we can keep repeating the command to map that TFS Team Project to multiple PWA Projects.

    That is,

TFS Team Project 1 > PWA Project 1

TFS Team Project 1 > PWA Project 2

TFS Team Project 1 > PWA Project 3

    Hope this is possible.

Also, how will the tasks (work items) inside PWA Project 1, 2, 3 come into this TFS Team Project 1?

  • Yes, the above scenario is possible.

But, yes you may face certain problems in identifying the project related tasks at a single place. To overcome this situation, try dividing the tasks between, root area, root source control folder etc.

    That may help.

    Thanks
