Shared Calendars on Smartphones RRS feed

  • Question

  • The problem: I am a delegate on my bosses' calendar and contacts on Outlook for Mac 2011 on a Microsoft Exchange server. I can view/manage/edit his calendar and contacts on my work computer. When I add items to my own Outlook calendar it automatically appears on my mobile device (iPhone) since I have Exchange as my 'default calendar' on my iPhone.

However, I cannot see my shared calendars on my iPhone or on the Outlook Web Access, only on the Outlook program.

    Steps I have tried already:

    • Pressing 'Sync' in the Organize tab in Outlook
    • Using Outlook Web Access, going to 'Options' and then adjusting things in 'Mobile Devices' and 'Calendar'
    • Adjusting settings in the iPhone

    Resources I've tried:

    Details about my computer:

    • Mac OS X. Version 10.5.8
    • Microsoft Office for Mac- Business Edition 2011
    • Outlook Version=14.0.0
    • Microsoft Exchange

  • You can only synchronize your default calendar folder, contact folder, and tasks folder

---------Refer to <Exchange ActiveSync: Frequently Asked Questions>
