booting vista RRS feed

  • hey guys ive got 2 hdds

    one has xp on it

    then i installed vista on the other one

    vista installed fine and when it came to boot it said  status: 0xc000000e winloade.exe is missing or corrupt

    so i went back onto xp and had a look and winloader.exe is there

    just its in the boot folder where it should be but i opened vistabootpro and it was saying it was somewhere else...so i knw that i gotta edit the BCD file...but how?

    i opened bcdedit.exe but it have me an error ldrgetprocedureaddress could not be located in the dyn.link.lib ntdll.dll which i looked and is in the system 32 folder so i dunno wats going on....

    plz help

  • Try booting from the Vista DVD and do a startup repair.

  • yeh i tried that but it didn't work....i'm  running 2 sata hdds btw.
