Project Web App RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,  I want to have a group of external users only see some of the projects listed on the  projects page

I want to only allow the external users to see The GG09 and GG10 projects in the list of projects. Do I need a protfolio for their projects?

Also can I ask how do I remove all the foreign language report folders?

  • Hi,

First question: what version of Project Server do you have? Have what permission mode (PRoject Server or Sharepoint)?

Note that any user does need a licence for accessing Project Server data, including external users.

Then if you're using the default security model, the team members group just allows seeing your own project in read only, so you could use this group.

Can you give more details about "portfolio"? In Project there are only projects, portfolio only being a group of projects using a custom fields.

Yes you can remove used reports in the report center.

    Hope this helps,

  • There are many ways to do this.  My first reaction is to great a new security category (call it External) that specifies only those projects and then create a security group that only users the (External) category.

Also, to Gullaumene questions, those questions need to be answered as well,  This requires SharePoint Mode.
