  • This issue is caused by the KB4011039 update (not the KB4011091). As I know, Word 2016 and Outlook 2016 are impacted.

Uninstalling this update fixed the problem on my side.

  • Hi,

What exactly do you mean by "omitted"? Could you please share an screenshot here with us for reference purpose?

If possible, please share the detailed steps on how to check it. I would first like to verify it on my end.

    Regards,

    Ethan Hua

  • Hi Ethan,

I meant the content in which the td contains the rowspan is not shown. In my example Text1 - The missing text!

If the td contains an image then this is not shown. We are using the 32bit Outlook 2016 version. Before windows update this was shown good, after the update parts ( cells including the rowspan ) are not shown/ blank.

    Kind regards,

    Peter

  • Hi Jorge, it was the only new Outlook update, so I assumed it was this update.

  • It's the same for me in other office programs too.

The rowspan elements don't show in Word when I open the HTML signature file.

Loading it directly into the browser shows it as expected.

  • Hi

I am having the same issue where the content inside rowspan is empty.

This even can be simulated by using the insert table option within outlook when creating a mail and merging rows.

  • Existing emails with rowspan are also not displayed properly, here my simple example...

The eml example for download : https://ufile.io/ffks1

Text 1 - The missing text! is not displayed
