Working with multiple Datasources in RDLC RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have multiple data sources in my .rdlc file where each one is associated with one data table. However at one time I m showing only one datatable so in C# coding I specified only one data source for my Report viewer.During runtime I m getting an error stating that "instance" of other (non-required) datasources is not specified. What can I do ??

As I m showing only one datatable hiding others can be a solution but I dont want to waste time on un-necessary databinding

  • Hey got the solution if such scenario arises we just need to pass default constructor of DataTable as 2nd parameter to ReportDataSource() method for datasources that we dont need to show

  • Spartan,

I'm glad you solved it yourself because this is not the forum for your question. This forum is dedicated exclusively to questions/issues about Microsoft Project, a planning and scheduling application.
