How to recreate .docx from unzipped folder content? RRS feed

    Hi,

    Word .docx format is an zipped file. If I change the suffix to .zip, unzip it, can modify the folder content such as changing some of the embedded image files, then compress the file to a .zip file, and then change .zip suffix to .docx, I could not open it as Word tells me that the file is corrupted.

    .docx→ .zip→ folder→ modified folder→ .zip→.docx ⇒ ✕cannot read, corrupted!

    How to recreate a .docx file from modified folder?

    Hi,

    Please try to extract .zip file test if it helps.

    Right-click .zip file, and use either of following methods:

    • Extract file...
    • Extract Here.
    • Extract to <FileNameFolder>.

    I was not asking about how to extract the file, but on how to recreate the .docx file after the unzipped content has been modified.
