Automatically create a PST for each user? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We are migrating a another company into our AD and Exchange 2007 environment.  It seems the users have loads of PST files saved locally on their C drives!!

Anyway we are creating a PST server and have told them they will have 1 PST file that is offsite, but is secure and backed up (we have a 100mb lease line to them) and they can put their important archive emails int there.  They have around 80 users and I wondered is there and 'easy' way of creating these PST files for each user like using a GPO or will we nee manually create them?

    Thanks

  • There is no way you can create empty PST. I'd rather write step by step PST creating procedure and let the user do it.
