I have just moved a File Share resource from a Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2 Cluster. I am now getting two errors Event ID 1579/1196. Both relate to not being able to update the DNS record for the File Share resource. Looking back I probably should have deleted the DNS entry and let the 2008 R2 CAP create it again. I'm not seeing any issues as such with the Cluster but I want rid of these errors. Is there a way to let the new Cluster nodes update the DNS entry?
