%username% not working when mapping drives on some machines

    Question

  • Hi,

I'm troubleshooting why a policy to map a drive does not work on some pc's. I have set it to map a drive to \\server\Home Folders\%username%

On some pc's for the same user it works but on others it does not. I have found on these pc's (testing on win7 Pro) you cannot map a drive to that location. You can however unc to the same path.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
