  • Question

  • Hi,

I am getting following error message on a SharePoint page created in pages library despite of that i have "Full Control" permission level on SharePoint 2007

Error: Access Denied You are currently signed in as: litware\user

Mysterious thing is that some times this error message don't appear and every thing works fine. But some times it suddenly start appearing and user is unable to do anything. I have given user maximum level permission permission (i.e. Full Control). But problem remains the same. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards..

  • Hi,

I think, you should check your master page gallery also in Site Action. User should have atleast read right of your master page.

Is it the publish page OR basic / webpart page?

Check this if it could help you

  • Dear Hemendra Agarwal,

    Thanks for the reply.

As you questioned me, I am having a problem on a simple ASPX page. I have given "Full Control" permission level to a user on ASPX pages residing in Pages library of sharepoint. Also I have checked permission levels on Pages library as well. I was working till last monday and I have not changed any permissions...
