Failure to print to a network printer from Outlook 2013

    Question

  • Hi Team,

    I am unable to take print form outlook 2016 Error showing:- 

    Print Preview requires a printer to be selected. Under Printer, click the down arrow, and then click the printer you want to use.

    Can you please provide the solution to resolved this issue.

    Window 8.1 pro.

  • Hi,

    Does the print issue only happens in Outlook 2016? How about other Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint?

    In Outlook 2016, open a specific email, click File > Print, under Printer, try to select Microsoft XPS Document Writer or Microsoft Print for PDF. Click Print button to confirm if there is any error.

    If there is no issue with PDF print, please try to change a printer in your scenario. Also upgrade the printer driver, disable any anti-virus programs to have a try.

    If the issue can be reproduced when print for PDF, please restart Outlook in safe mode to narrow down the issue: Press Win+R to open Run in Windows, type Outlook /safe, press Enter.
