    Hi All,

    Is there any way to hide the URL in the address bar when i click on a column in my report that has the setting of using 'Go to URL' ?

    Just a guess

    You might be able to use javascript function which passes the correct url from within it to navigate to the report . In SSRS Go to URL, call this javascript function instead with required parameters.

    Using method like

    Hi Visakh16, I think your suggestion was the solution. But I found online that for modern browser, hiding URL is no longer doable (blocked by browser). And some said that using the javascript method could work only if the pop up is open in a new window. The pop up behaviour is different from browser/PC setup. In my PC, the IE is set to open pop up in new tab, which is the same for the other PCs in my company, which I could not simply change it because some other in-house programs need that setting...anyway, thanks for point out the direction. It really helps me to understand more in the problem that I am facing.
