Publish web application with redirect and url rewrites is problematic RRS feed

  • First post here but possible not the last

We changed from an ISA 2006 server to an UAG 2010 SP1 and now I am stuck on publishing a website.

This is a customer support portal used for 2 types of customers, national and international. The national customers go to support.domain.se and the international opens support.domain.com. In ISA I had 2 redirects for these URL:s:

    support,domain.se > https://support.domain.com/national

    support.domain.com > https://support.domain.com/international

The internal sites are http://server/application/national and http://server/application/international.

I have create a unauthenticated trunk that works if you use https://support.domain.com/application/international as well as */national.

But users are use to just use the domain addresses and get redirected. How can I achieve this in UAG? Is it possible?

Why these url rewrites? Well, I correct mistakes made before and as it was doable using ISA we kept it like this.

    Thanks in advance

  • Is this rocket science? Easy to do in ISA/TMG but not possible in UAG?

Word on the streets are that MS will discontinue TMG and continue only with UAG. Sad news imo.
