DFS/FSR between SBS 2008 and Server 2008 RRS feed

    Hi,

     

    we have a client who wants to replicate their file shares between their main and branch offices.  at the main office we have SBS 2008 and at the branch Server 2008 with AD.  we want to know if SBS 2008 will work with DFS FSR between the servers..

    Thanks for posting here.

     

    DFS is available in Windows Small Business Server 2008.

    If you want to use DFS you must use the technology-specific tools in Windows Server 2008 as there are no tools for configuring or managing DFS in the Administration Console.

     

    To set the DFS namespace and configure DFS-R for replication, it will be identical to standard Windows Server 2008 scenarios.
