no administrator account!!!! RRS feed

  • Hi There

    I seem to be having a similar problem to alot of the people in the related topics.  I went into my account that had administrator rights on my windows XP professional and changed the access to limited accidently before i added a new account with admin rights.  My default account "administrator" has disappeared from the login area so i am extremely unsure as to what i should do now.  Our business cannot run without these rights being put back in.  Could you please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • turn on your computer/press f8 (as soon as start) /choose  safe mode/choose  administrator,(this is the hidden administrator)/make a new account(I think you know how since you changed your account)  hope it works.  espero te funcione:)

  • Pressing the F8 key allows you to log in as the administrator account.

    If you wish to change your account to use full administrator rights subinacl.exe and the script contained in this KB works every time.
