Windows 10 1607 Servicing : All the feature updates for Windows 10 are showing as NOT REQUIRED by all clients in SCCM 2012 even those known to be running CBB 1511 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I am configuring our Windows 10 Servicing plans and have enabled upgrades in our SCCM only wsus server and pulled them into SCCM from there. The Windows 10 Updates list the Feature Update to 1607 for Enterprise and the Upgrade for 1511 for Enterprise.

    All our Windows 10 machines run 1511 and thus should require the 1607 Feature Update, but in our system they are being reported as "not required" is there a reason for this?

    Thanks for any help,

  • Hi Martin,

    1. As far as I know, windows 10 1607 CBB hasn't been release, and your windows 10 1511 is CBB, if you want to upgrade to 1607, you need to change it to CB mode;

    2. Please check if the SCCM\WSUS has installed KB3159706 before syncing 1607;

    3. If the above suggestions still couldn't resolve your issue, you'd turn to SCCM forum for more professional help:
