Lync 2010 - Enable EV and integrate with Gateway & PBX RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi There,

One of the customers has deployed Microsoft Lync 2010 Enterprise Edition in their IT infrastructure. Now customer is planning to enable the Enterprise Voice feature which also involves the integration of Lync Server 2010 with Audiocodes Gateway [Mediant 600] & Siemens PBX.

Note: The plan is to collocate the Mediation Server role on Front-End Server role since the no# of users are approximately 250.

Appreciate if anyone can share "Step by Step Guide" or the best approach to complete this task.

    Regards

  • Look for the configuration guide on AudioCodes website to assist you with the Lync/Mediant interop. However, they don't publish a guide for Siemens so my guess is that you will need to figure it out yourself.

  • Hi,Nitish,

As ALANMAD pointed out there are lots of guides about Lync and AudioCodes gateway integration since AudioCodes is a Microsoft partner and there are some products listed on the certified tables, you can following the official one on AudioCodes website,or refer this great post.

Regarding Siemens PBX,it's not a certified PBX and there are not much information about Lync and Siemens integration, however  you can refer guide for the snom ONE IP PBX integration(it's also not certified ),maybe you can get some ideas from it.

Another old thread for your reference.
