RSAT tools limited installs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone know of a good way to let IT tech's install RSAT tools to manage computers and users only and deny installing all the other features like DHCP, DNS and WSUS etc? I was researching on how to create a PS script to do it by am having no luck and most searches show me how to install RSAT but not how to install with limited features available.

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

Please refer to this documentation for assistance.

Installing or Removing the Remote Server Administration Tools Pack

Notice “Using Windows PowerShell cmdlets” and “Using the command line”, from this documentation, we can install multiple tools by using commas to separate the command names, or install or remove multiple remote administration tools by creating an answer file.
