S4B 2019 - how to hide ipPhone AD Field? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

in S4B 2015 ResKit there is a Tool called ABS Configuration - so, no problem to hide e.g. the ipPhone field on the contact card.

How can i do that now in S4B 2019 since there is no ResKit available?

    thank you

  • Hello Sharon Zhao,

we are discussing at the moment to completly remove the values at the ipphone field or to move the values in a empty extensionAttribute (i hope, s4b leave the extensionAttributes alone hehe ;-))

as third option, we would try to flag the ipphone field.

It is really hard to see, that microsoft has scaled-down the ResKit :-(

We can close my question, Thank You.

    Best Regards,

    Walter

  • Hi w4lter,

It seems that the IP Phone is hidden by default.

In client side, you can hide your Phone properties by uncheck “Include in my contact card” in Skype for Business -Options. The following image is for your reference.

Moreover, you can hide the data in Active Directory on existing attribute with confidential flag. The following articles give you an elaborate description about how to hide user data in Active Directory:
