  • Question

  • How do to I script in SCCM to uninstall and install application in sccm:

    1. Make sure application is uninstalled

    2. Copy Download folder from server to the client machine C:

    3. Run batch Application.bat "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" from Client C download folder

    4. Run batch Application2.bat "Run As Administrator" from Client C download folder

    5. Copy Program.Zip to Client C:\zip folder

    6. Unzip Program.Zip to client C:\zip folder

    7. Rename the Application shortcut

Can all these steps be possible to by writing a script in sccm? Is there any example that is available how this process can be scripted?

Yes, all of the above is possible but none of it has to do with ConfigMgr. It's basic Windows scripting using whatever language you'd like.

Maybe. What you want is fairly specific though. You should perhaps consider using the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.

  • Hi,

As Jason said, script content has nothing to do with SCCM. But run and manage script is supported by SCCM:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/configmgr/apps/deploy-use/create-deploy-scripts

It seems there is no update for a couple of days. May we know the current status of the problem? Is there any other assistance we can provide?
