FIM 2010 connector for Web service certification RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Can anyone advice on the following questions please ?

Is FIM 2010 connector for webservice certified only with SAP and Oracle ERP systems currently? I can see three parts of it in the download section.

    1) Connector for SAP webservices

    2) Connector for Oracle EBS webservices

    3) Connector for Webservices ( assume it is generic)

Can we use the third type (generic connector) to connect to third party webservice enabled applications ?

    Thanks in advance.

  • It not "certified" for use with any specific system but there are some OOB configurations to interact with the systems you mentioned. You can create configurations yourself for whatever web service you like as long as it's a SOAP web service. Creating a configuration involves schema specification and workflow development and you can read more about it in the "Connector for Web Services.dotx" available here: FIM2010 Connector for WebServices Technet Documentation
