    Does any one know where I can download Windows Vista drivers for SoundMax?

    Hello Luscious,

     

    You need to confirm your audio card’s model and go to the manufacturer’s website and download the updated driver for it.

    I had the same problem when I did a hot install to revitalize Vista Ultimate, the sound driver was nowhere! ... so I downloaded the current AC`97 package, decompressd it, then BEFORE INSTALLING, I SET THE COMPATIBILITY FOR: SETUP.EXE, %dir%\SYS\CleanUp.exe, %dir%\sys\DSndUp.exe, AND *\SMAXWDM\W2K_XP\SMax4PNP.exe, ALL SET FOR "WINXP SP2", AND EVERYTHING INSTALLED CORRECTLY, AND I HAVENT HAD A PROBLEM! ...

     

    Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in~

     

    now I am having a problem with my optical mouse blipping and crashing...help?
