You havent signed lync and outlook with same account and SIP/SMTP are mismatch RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have two users. One is delegator and other is delegate and both are on Lync 2010 server. Delegate have "Editor" access on delegator's calender, inbox.

Delegate was able to create online meeting on behalf of delegator when both users were using lync clients. but now delegate using skype for business desktop client and delegator is using Lync desktop client. please note both users are on lync 2010 server from backend.

Now delegate getting error as "You havent signed lync and outlook with same account and SIP/SMTP are mismatch" when delegate try to create meeting in delegator's calender which is mapped to delegate's outlook. Please note delegate have SIP & SMTP both are same and delegator also have SIP & SMTP both are same.

I dont think if different client versions (Lync & skype for business) making any issue here or if they are causing this issue?

    Please suggest?

  • Hi Subham,

Run the get-csclientpolicy ,check the attribute “disableEmailComparisonCheck” if it is true , if so ,please set it to false.

Please open this account in AD ,check the attribute called proxyAddresses in Attribute Editor.

You also could refer to this link for your problem.

  • Hi Subham wipro ,

Did you integrate with exchange online?

Do other users in your organization have the same problem?Or the problem just related to different version of client.

If you have concern about the client version ,you could try to use same client version and test this function.

Have you check the “proxyAddresses” in user’s properties?

You also could run “get- csclientpolicy” in the SFB management , check the attribute “disableEmailComparisonCheck” , this command applies to Lync 2010 server.
