    Hi,,,,

    i configured WSUS on Win2008R2, after 1st synchronization total update size showing is around 10,00,000 MB. Is it ok or some problem is there in configuration. I have chosen only one languages and less number of product classification. take a look of snapshot.

    If you approve all updates, then WSUS will download all approved
    updates.

    But you have to upgrade your WSUS. On the Screenshot you will see the
    version number .226, actually is .262 for a WSUS on a W2008R2.

    WSUS 3.0 (SP2) + KB2828185:     Build 3.2.7600.262

    its on 2008R2 only. i am approving updates for few OS and few Microsoft product. i am getting 4-5 year old updates aslo may be because of that number of updates are high.

    Yes, thats normal if you are using automatic approving rule.

    thank for responding..... automatic approval is not there.... i have architecture of upstream and downstream server.... n the main problem i m facing because of this issue is low disk space... :(
