Windows 10 update (KB890830) does not reinstall after failed update RRS feed

  • Windows 10 is running on SBS2011 environment. WSUS has been working fine. Client PCs running Win 7 update KBs happily.

    Client PCs running Win 10 used to be happy in the past......but....

    Recently, I came across a failed update of KB890830 on a Win 10 PC. Sorry, I could not recall what was the recent about the fail update. Typically, I am able to reinstall by rerun Windows update, but not this time.

    Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

    Have you got any error messages when install this update? Have you tried to install it manually?

    We could try to install in a clean boot environment to have a troubleshoot.

    If the issue persists, please check the cbs.log (C:\Windows\Logs\CBS)for more information to troubleshoot this issue.
