    Greetings,

    I am researching Federated Identity Management using/for SharePoint 2010. The expected outcome is a brief report intended for IT Managers.

    In my research I kept on hitting links that either talk about FdIM as a concept or implementation details with terms such as STS, SAML, ADFS etc. I am not being able to bring it together with SharePoint 2010 in focus. Scenarios I received as an example were a) Vendors/Suppliers trying to share information and b) Mergers/Aquisitions.

    Could anyone please break it down in simpler terms OR direct me to right content?
