  • Question

  • It was requested, I ask this question in the EMET forum.

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/9febcce8-00bf-45c8-b72d-1f9e0a0df349/emet-config-redeployment?forum=configmanagergeneral#9febcce8-00bf-45c8-b72d-1f9e0a0df349

I have SCCM 2012 SP1.   I deployed EMET 4.1 successfully.    However,  I find that I need to remove Chrome.exe from EMET.  I am  unclear how to remove Chrome in EMET via SCCM.

    Thank you for you help

  • Can you give some more information? Did you use a GPO to configure EMET 4.1? Why do you need to remove Chrome? Did you deploy EMET 4.1 update 1 which solves some application compatibility issues (also Chrome 35) and updates the Certificate Trust Pinning Rules.

If you don't use EMET 4.1 Update 1 and you don't use a GPO for configuring EMET maybe you can run EMET_Conf.exe with some options to configure Chrome. See my post http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/security/en-US/fd07e8f1-cd97-42e4-bc22-b40db0f5495b/emet-compatibility-with-chrome-35?forum=emet#e1c2e07b-85a0-45df-87f4-04eb51599302 for more information about the command(s)

The page http://sccmguru.wordpress.com/2014/05/07/deploying-and-configuring-emet-4-1-with-system-center-configuration-manager-2012-r2/ also gives information about deploying EMET 4.1 Update 1 through SCCM 2012R2 and uses a commandline in the package to configure EMET.
