Opening file .OST in Outlook RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello I was using Outlook 2010.

I created some archive but now I have .OST file that I can't open in my Outlook 2013.

Is there any way to open it?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hi,

The .ost files are not used as archives in Outlook, .ost files are usually the local cache of Exchange Accounts, the data in the .ost file should still be available in the server mailbox.

If you want to open .ost files in Outlook, you will need to convert the .ost to .pst, Microsoft doesn't provide this feature, you will need some 3rd-party tools.

  • MS Outlook is not able to open OST files so first convert OST files into PST format through OST to PST Converter Software after that import resultant .PST files into Outlook and access successfully.
