Outlook 2016 Problems RRS feed

  • Hi.

    I have Microsoft Office 365/ Microsoft Office 2016 installed on my laptop.....  In the past 24 hours, I have been experiencing problems with OUTLOOK..... It opens, then the screen goes blank, then it opens, then it goes blank again then works for a short time then works....

    What is the problem?

    Your help would be greatly appreciated....

    What type of email account do you use (POP, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange)?

    Please first have a try in safe mode and see if it works:

    Press Win + R and type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, then press Enter.

    Lots of Office issues are caused by third party add-ins. If Outlook works well in safe mode, then you will need to disable installed third party add-ins one by one to isolate the faulty one.

    If issue persists after checking under safe mode, try to follow the steps mentioned in the following article, to repair your Outlook data file and see if it will correct the issue:
