Hello Pradeep,
BranchCache feature is first introduced with Windows Server 2008 R2. There is no BranchCache bits in all Windows Server 2008 SKUs. If you want to test and evaluate this new feature, you may need to use Windows Server 2008 R2.
Install steps:
Server Manager -> Add roles -> File service -> BranchCache for network files
è Add Feature -> BranchCache
For more information about BranchCache, please refer to:

Hi there,
Did you install Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2? BranchCache is only part of the R2 release. If you installed R2 it should be in the Features.- Proposed as answer by Stefan Hazenbroek Wednesday, September 9, 2009 6:13 AM
